Corbett vs. Dempsey is proud to present a special solo concert by flutist and former Chicagoan Claire Chase.

On the heels of her latest album release ("The Holy Liftoff" with JACK Quartet by Terry Riley, Sono Luminus 2026), Chase will perform live selections from the new record along with new works she has commissioned and collaboratively created as part of her ongoing Density 2036 initiative. Described by the New York Times as "one of the great musical undertakings of our time," the Density project reimagines the flute repertoire over a 24-year span.

At Corbett vs. Dempsey, Chase will play Density works by Annea Lockwood, Pauline Oliveros, and Marcos Balter in addition to excerpts from the new album.
